My Coaching Style
Due to my diverse professional background, I tend to work in a very different way most other coaches. And that’s because I always try to focus on:
- Generating lots of self-assessment data and personalised advice
- Developing key skills and establishing positive habits
- 7-day programmes that are focused on liberation and taking control
This helps me to create tailored experiences for each of my clients, rather than promoting one size fits all solutions.
And where helpful, I also help each of my clients to start embracing certain AI tools, which can potentially deliver support to them on a long-term basis.
Further details can be seen in the sections below:
Data & Personalisation
Before their first full session, each of my clients are asked to complete a short self-assessment that’s relevant to their current situation, before they then receive a personalised report.
Based on the relevant result, I then help my clients to identify personalised solutions, which can drive sustainable long-term benefits for them.
I also focus on helping them to set suitable “SMART” goals for themselves, which means making sure that all their goals are:
- Very specific
- Easily measurable
- Clearly actionable
- Realistic
- Timescale orientated
And to help my clients achieve these goals, I usually try to familiarise them with the “power of habit framework”, which involves helping them to establish the following per target habit:
- Step 1: Creating suitable “triggers”
- Step 2: Implementing suitable routines
- Step 3: Enjoying associated rewards
- Step 4: Starting to crave these desired rewards
When each of these steps are followed for long enough, each target new habit will then start to be performed automatically. Therefore, I often tend to focus on helping my clients to replace their existing bad habits with positive new ones.
My Key Passions & Values
When providing my coaching services, I always try to be very open about what my key passions and values are, whilst also inviting my clients to be open about their own.
My key passions involve helping people to:
- Prioritise their decision making based on expected happiness
- Embrace their key ambitions, whilst identifying the correct paths ahead
- Take personal responsibility and learn key lessons wherever possible
- Be pragmatic rather than ideological when making any key decisions
- Create opportunities for themselves and others when possible
And my key values involve believing that people should always try to behave in the following ways whenever possible:
- Aim to feel grateful for what they have
- Treat others with the respect that they expect themselves
- Try to empathise with others before judging them
- Aim to be a positive influence towards others where possible
- Be open to the idea of redemption when someone is genuinely remorseful (apart from certain extreme circumstances)
However, I try to respect every person’s key passions and values, and I can work very effectively with most types of individuals.
Where I Coach
When working with clients, I can engage with them in a number of different ways.
Usually, I advise most clients to begin with a 3 session starter package. These are tailored to focus on whatever each client would like to discuss, and they also help us to scope what a longer term personalised programme may look like. Please click here to see more details on how this initial 3-session package works.
Most of my sessions tend to be held online (using Google Hangouts or Zoom), because this allows me to regularly work with people all over the UK. This also tends to be the most convenient form of communication for most of my clients.
The only requirements for this type of meeting type are that my clients have a working camera and microphone, plus the ability to install and use the chosen software.
However, when possible, I like to meet my clients in person for one of our first few sessions. Especially with my clients that are based in the South East of England, but I can sometimes travel to meet clients in other locations.
Sometimes, I also invite my clients to meet me for a wellness retreat in Fuerteventura (in the Canary Islands), as I tend to spend some of my time there during the winter months.
Further details on each option can be provided on request.
